Pallet & heavy deliveries
Our grills are large and heavy, so they travel with specialist pallet couriers. For safety and insurance reasons heavy items are delivered kerbside — the driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the nearest accessible point. Please make sure someone is available to help move it.
Free delivery may not apply to some oversized pallets or remote island locations; any surcharge is shown at checkout.
Returns & refunds
Your purchase is protected by Irish and EU consumer law.
14-day cooling-off period
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive you can cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Just tell us clearly before the 14 days are up — email sales@smartgrill.ie.
Conditions for a full refund
- The item must be unused, unassembled and in the same condition you received it.
- It must be in its original, undamaged packaging.
- Once a pellet grill has been assembled, fired up or used to cook it’s no longer new, and can’t be returned under the cooling-off period unless it is faulty.

FAQ
Can’t see your question? Ask us.
Which grill should I buy?
It mostly comes down to how many you cook for and where. The Trek is portable and runs on 12V — perfect for camping or a small patio. The Ledge is the all-rounder for the back garden. The Peak has the most cooking space for big gatherings. Compare them side by side.
Do I need WiFi to use it?
The grill has its own on-board controller, so you can cook without it. Connect to WiFi to unlock the GMG Prime 2.0 app for remote temperature control, probe readings and alerts.
What does 12V Direct Power mean?
Prime 2.0 grills run on 12V Direct Power for consistent heat and precise temperature control, with dual 220V / 12V connectivity — plug into the mains at home, or a 12V source when you’re out and about.
Which pellets should I start with?
If you’re not sure, go with Apple — rich, hearty and remarkably smooth. Gold is milder and balanced, Texas is bold for beef, and Fruitwood is light and sweet.
How long does a bag of pellets last?
It depends on the temperature you cook at and the weather. Low-and-slow smoking sips pellets; high-heat searing uses more. Every bag is 12.7 kg of pure hardwood.
Do I have to assemble the grill?
Yes — grills arrive boxed on a pallet, with the tools you need. Watch a Peak assembly.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland?
Yes. We deliver to every address in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. See delivery rates.
